For the first time since Saturday we are seeing small improvements in Sheldon's health! This morning mom and dad met with Sheldon's doctors, and although they are not saying that he is out of the woods yet, they see some movement in the right direction (and the doctor smiled as he gave report :) ) . If Sheldon can maintain this state for the next 24 hours, they will begin to pull back on some of his life support and medications to see where he is at and also try to send him for an MRI.
We want to say thanks so much for all of the support and encouragement we have had in the past few days. We believe that God is working here and appreciate all of the prayers.

Hey guys, its lonnie.
last night sheldon did cough and took several large breaths on his own. They have decreased his blood pressure meds and he is more stable then ever although a little cranky. his icp(inter cranial pressure) has been sitting at approx 9 but does fluctuate when ever he is stimulated which is very promising. julie stayed by his side the entire night until 7:00 am as benji and i remained as julie support with runs to tim hortons.they are turning him more often and last night he moved his legs a little. the heavy sedatives they have had him on where starting to fade so it may have been voluntary movement
(we can hope). Last night was the first time we have heard any of the staff say he has improved.
i really appreciate the picu staff. they are all wonderfull people and they have been making this so much easier.
i need some sleep

Lonnie, create a google account (use buttons at the top of the page) and send me whatever email address that you use for the account, and I can add you as an author. Then you can post to the main page.
Apparently you don't need to actually create a blog - just a regular google account will work, which may not be linked at the top of the page.
This sounds encouraging. Many of us are praying.
hurray for great news!
We're praying for a speedy recovery - God's specialty is miracles and that's what we're praying for.
Ben Buller's Auntie Betsy :)
I am so sorry to hear about this and I will be praying for him.
